Hi, I am Toms 🌴

With over 10 years of experience I have led products from concept to launch. I like owning the entire design lifecycle, from conducting user research to rapidly iterating on designs based on feedback and data.

I have led product discovery workshops making sure that teams are aligned on what to build and have a shared vision of where the product is going.

I’m a designer at heart but on my path I have gained valuable insights from roles as a product manager working in a startup and a tech consultancy. This taught me how to translate complex business requirements into actionable design solutions, ensuring that products meet both user needs and strategic objectives.

How I work

Actively curious

Design is more than a job; it's my passion. I'm driven to understand how things work and why they function the way they do. Learning new insights is a joy and shapes my perspective on the world.

Delivers consistently

I have a proven track record of successfully delivering large, complex projects, even in environments with high levels of ambiguity and uncertainty.

Pleasantly collaborative

Great work is a team effort. I show work early, value diverse perspectives, and strive for alignment among stakeholders. Iterating quickly provides learnings that we're building the right solution.

Adapts to any environment

With my varied product background, I have learned to speak the language of business stakeholders and developers. I’ve been a solo designer, worked in agencies and in a product teams. I enjoy working in a diverse environment continuously delivering value.

Thinks in Systems

I look to understand the broader product context and zoom in to figure out how components interact with one another, and try to reuse as much as possible to simplify engineering efforts.
